The installation explores ontological aspects – embedded in a cinematic sensuality in which space acts as an inner window, drawing our attention to the multiple mutable states of being.

Vienna Design Week
Ad hoc Magazine
For the tenth anniversary of the festival, ten Austrian graphic designers were invited to compile impressions of one festival day each and interpret them the following day in an ad hoc magazine in a freely accessible Open Office. The multifaceted compendium was published in a limited edition as the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK’s own publication.
Our observations on the festival involved spatial position, time, and object that are reconfiguring themselves. Like spatial position, TEMPORALITY is an intrinsic property of the object. INTENTIONALITY can be defined as the „aboutness“ or „directedness“ of one‘s mental states or acts (in reflection on Edmund Husserl and Franz Brentano) – e.g. in the act of creation.

Utopian Adventures
Design of the monthly Q for Q21 / Museumsquartier Wien, 2018
Q21 provides workspace for around 50 initiatives, organizations, agencies and editorial offices working in the cultural sector. Q21 tenants work across a wide variety of fields. Be it an international film or dance festival, indie game development, art book publishing or a fashion boutique, with their themes and forms of production, these initiatives complement the traditional museums and event spaces at the MuseumsQuartier Wien.
To show this variety of souls, each Q21 monthly program got a different artwork, a different interpretation of the letter Q, created by artists and designers.

Pergraphica
Launch of a new uncoated fine paper brand.
Naming, brand identity.
In 2014 we were asked by international Paper Manufacturer Mondi Group to develop a brand name and identity design for their new multifunctional high premium paper. We came up with the name Pergraphica, which derives from the latin-origin Pergraphicus („most exquisite“ and „very skillful“) which meets perfectly the multifunctional skills of the paper. Pergraphica represents as well the connection to arts and graphics; it‘s the perfect paper to achieve extraordinary printing results of imagery and colorful graphics. The signet acts as a reference to watermark signs which were used by paper mills in the past to distinguish their quality paper from replicas. This signet was created as a modern watermark which is building a connection to the history of paper manufacture. The hand-drawn abstract flower is inspired by south-African Mondia Whitei, Mondi Group‘s name patron, and is referring to the company‘s strong environmental awareness and its sustainable products.

The Sparkling Signage System
For Vienna Art Week 2014, Say Say Say, Inc. developed a sparkling signage system as a „Running Mindmap“ at Museumsquartier Wien. The signage consists of seven colors that stand for Netculture, Music, Arts, Design, Publishing, Public Affairs, and Gaming – the different disciplines in which the cultural professionals are (also simultaneously) active.

Landscapes transformed and dissolved into their CMYK data for Mondi‘s BIO TOP 3® paper swatchbook
Creative direction, design
In 2016 Mondi Group asked us to create a new swatchbook for their well-known eco-friendly paper brand BIO TOP 3®, which has been on the market for 28 years. The versatility of BIO TOP 3® and its natural shade inspired us to design a multi-dimensional swatchbook consisting of a practical part that shows the versatility of applications in a visually approachable way, and an emotional part – a detachable book – featuring fascinating landscapes that have been dissolved into their cmyk data, creating sublime shades that pay tribute to the natural shade of BIO TOP 3®.
